Default tore my acl

well i was playing football with a few freinds and i was running and my leg got locked up by the knee and then my freind came down on me and i watched my knee snap backwards and i went down to the ground and i saw from the knee down it was move side to side. And as the amblunace(sp?) got there they cut my pants off and my knee was up towards my hip and my leg bone was down where the knee should of been but alitte to the left. and the doc said i tore my acl(front of the knee) pcl(behind the knee) and mrc(the side of the knee). just though i would let the people of guru know what happen to me on a friday.

Got some stuff to add to my little story. They had to check to check if my knee or anyother bone crushed one of my main artery and they had to cut 3 inches left of my groin area(the balls) and when i was on the table the guy siad now u cant move ur heasd because if you do u can bleed to death. and i was think well freaking great. and then he said this is how people die from shark attacks and the number one reason people lose there legs.

then after that they had to pop my knee back into place so they druged me up some more and i was in and out and i woke up alittle and i though i was in school and i said aloud "this isnt school" and then i saw them pop my knee into place and it was sooo loud i though they took my leg off. but then i passed put and woke up and said " i think im naked under here and i was and i checked. and every time i woke up the drugs made me forgot about it so i came telling this to my family. i guess i had them cracking up.

but thats what happen to me on friday night

Im sorry to hear that fella, are you going to have to go through surgery? I broke my ankle during a soccer game and the doctor said that i broke my groth plate :P That was a few years back. The best thing is that im allergic to anesthesia so they had to reasemble my leg while i was awake .. I had a spinal but i had no regerets, they put me on some FUNNN drugs lol. Good luck with all your healing.

Knee injuries can ruin a football player's career. I hope that you recover fully, and it doesn't stop you from playing a sport you like.
One of my favourite CFL receivers (Tony Simmons) has to get reconstructive knee surgery.

I want to bust the hell out of your other knee for telling me that story, the mentally induced pain in my knee now is pretty sick...

Yuck.

Oww hope you get well and remember not to overuse the pain pills. My uncle had that problem after crashing on his bike (not his motorcycle) and just got road rash across the right half of his boddy and broke this bone near the shoulder (clavicle?) and got withdraw system. Apperently not fun to have those.

After having a compound fracture myself no more than 13 years ago...this sounds painful. Hope they gave you lots of morphine!
